Did you know that many species visit the waters of Forillon?
We are quite privileged to be visited by earth’s biggest mammal ever, the Blue whale. Smaller but just as spectacular, the Humpback whale is also a frequent visitor of Forillon’s shores. There even are many identified individuals! Other baleen whales in our area are: the Fin whale and the Minke whale.
The common toothed whale species seen in Gaspé are the Harbour porpoise and the White-sided dolphin .
